Privacy Policy

FootQuiz (“Transfer Radarı”, “the app”) is a multi-mode football quiz available at oyun.transferradari.com and in our mobile apps. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Guest play and signing in

You can start playing as a guest without giving any personal information. Guests can play three games; to keep playing you need to sign in. This is because scores, streaks and leaderboard position cannot be kept without an account.

Daily puzzles, reading the chat and the football data tools stay open without signing in. Posting in chat, sending direct messages and in-game chat require you to accept the Terms of Use.

2. Data we collect

• When you sign in with Google: we receive your name, email address and profile photo from your Google account. We never see or store your password.
• When you sign in with Apple (iOS app): we receive only your name and email address (Apple does not share a profile photo). If you choose to hide your email, we receive Apple’s private relay address. We never see or store your password.
• Game data: the results of your games, your points and your badges (for the leaderboard and your profile).
• Chat and invites: the chat messages you post and the game invitations you send to other players.
• IP address: processed temporarily only to prevent abuse (spam, cheating such as playing against yourself to inflate the leaderboard) and for rate limiting.
• Stored on your device: the number of guest games you have played, the fact that you accepted the Terms of Use, users you have blocked, your nickname, and your theme and language preference. These stay on your device and are lost if you clear your browser data.
• Sign-in prompt measurement: to measure whether the sign-in prompt shown after three free games works, we record that the prompt was shown and whether you then signed in. This record contains a random identifier generated on your device and your IP address; it contains no name, email or game content. It is never used for advertising or profiling.

3. How we use data

• To recognise you and remember your name.
• To work out the leaderboard, your profile and your badges.
• To run messaging and invitations between players.
• To prevent cheating and abuse, and keep the service safe.
• To understand which parts of the app work (the sign-in prompt measurement above).

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

4. Third-party services

• Google Sign‑In: for signing in (subject to Google’s privacy policy).
• Sign in with Apple: for signing in on iOS (subject to Apple’s privacy policy).
• Hosting: data is stored on a private server (Hostinger) that runs the app.

The app contains no ad network, analytics tracker or third-party tracking tool. The measurement described above is kept on our own server and never sent elsewhere.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account from inside the app at any time: the “Delete my account” button on your profile page removes your name, email, game history, badges and leaderboard position for good after a confirmation step. This cannot be undone — the account is deleted, not disabled.

Sign-in prompt measurement records are kept for at most 12 months, then deleted.

6. Children’s privacy

The app is intended for a general audience; we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Security

Connections are encrypted with HTTPS, sign-in goes through Google or Apple (no password is stored), and access is limited to what each operation needs.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always published on this page.
